Kadiboy’s “The Death of Pablo” screens abroad
2018 will probably be another good year for Director Arvin “Kadiboy” Belarmino. The internationally acclaimed Filipino Director has once again captured the attention of cinephiles not only in the Philippines but also abroad!
Last December 9, 2017, the Bangkok Screening Room in Thailand held a premier screening of Kadiboy’s first feature film, “The Death of Pablo”. But that’s not the only interesting event that happened for Kadiboy in 2017.
He also won Best Film and Best Director in Pelikultura: The Calabarzon Film Festival; his short film “Nakaw” made it to Festival de Cannes 2017; “Nakaw” won the Best Short Film in Gawad Urian; he returned as a finalists in Cinemalaya’s Short Film category; “The Death of Pablo” was exhibited in QCinema International Film Festival; he won Best Director for Short & Sweet Film Festival in Hollywood L.A.; he won Best Fiction Film in the 3rd Minikino Film Festival in Jakarta Indonesia; he also won The Feather of Excellence in The Festival de Cine Paz Mindanao.
We’re claiming it! Kadiboy’s achievements last year will surely extend this year.
